<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a good fluid dynamic control characteristic for a rotary machine by constituting a fluid machine by integrally forming a spiral flow compressor/turbine with a permanent magnet motor/power generator, and arranging a pair of journal bearing on both sides of a plurality of impellers provided on the spiral flow compressor/turbine side. SOLUTION: In a rotary machine including a spiral flow compressor/turbine and a motor/power generator 15, impellers 23, 24 including a plurality of two trains of blades are mounted on one end of a shaft 20, and a permanent magnet rotor 27 is mounted on the other end of the shaft 20. The shaft 20 is rotatably supported in a housing through first and second journal bearings 21, 31, and 22 disposed on both sides of the impellers 23, 24 mounted on one end of the shaft 20. Nearly horseshoe shaped stator channels 32 to 34 dynamically associated with each train of a plurality of impeller blades are formed on the housing, and a fluid is passed along a nearly spiral shaped passage where the fluid is passed plural times between a plurality of blades.</p> |
