<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a direct cylinder injection type two cycle engine in which a lubricant is supplied to a cylinder in an as appropriate as possible condition, as well as a method to install an oil pump. SOLUTION: In this two cycle engine, a cylinder 11 that forms each cylinder is arranged in both right and left directions to form a V-shape at the rear of a crankshaft 10. A reed valve 40 is disposed in front of the crankshaft, and an air introducing portion 31 is formed in a crankcase 21 that covers the front portion of a crank chamber 36. An air passage 32 that introduces the air from the reed valve 40 is formed on the air introducing portion 31, and on side walls 31a, 31b of the air passage of the air introducing portion 31, a lubricant outlet 54 is formed in the downstream side with respect to the reed valve 40. The lubricant outlet that supplies a lubricant to the left cylinder is disposed on the right wall of the air passage, and the lubricant outlet that supplies the lubricant to the right cylinder on the left wall thereof.</p> |
