PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition desirable for, especially, a heavy-duty packaging film by mixing an ethylene copolymer having specified physical properties with other ethylene (co)polymers in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 90-20 wt.% copolymer having a density (d1) of 0.87-0.94, an MFR (MFR1) of 0.1-10, an Mw/Mn ratio of 1.5-3.5, and a compositional distribution parameter Cb of 1.08-2.00, and having a content X (wt.%) of o-dichlorobenzene solubles (25 deg.C) in the range: X<2.0 in the case when the relationships I hold between d1 and MFR1 or in the range satisfying relationships III in the case when the relationships II hold between them, and giving an elution temperature vs. eluate amount curve having a plurality of peaks when fractionated by continuous temperature-rising elutign fractionation and 10-80 wt.% (co)polymer obtained by polymerizing ethylene alone or copolymerizing ethylene with a 3-20Cα-olefin in the presence of a catalyst containing a group IV transition metal compound and having a density of 0.88-0.97 and an MFR <MFR2) of 0.01-5 and/or (co)polymer having an Mw/Mn ratio of 1.5-5.0 and satisfying the relationships IV between MRF2 andη.
