PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting bar capable of demountably mounting a plate-shaped interior equipment of a deck room, ensuring the appearance without the interior equipment, and being utilized for supporting a matter loaded on the deck room. SOLUTION: Engagement caps 32 to be engaged with bar mounting holes formed on both side surfaces of a deck room, are mounted on both ends of a supporting bar 30 having a length corresponding to a width in the car width dierection of the deck room. The supporting bar 30 is expandable and contractible so that once it is temporarily shortened when the engagement caps 32 are engaged with the bar mounting holes, and energized in the expanding direction by a spring 35.
