PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording medium for accurately proof reading by a simple operation in a short time. SOLUTION: In the ink jet recording medium comprising an ink receptive layer provided on a support, the layer contains a coloring agent in such a manner that conditions that its surface has a lightness index L* according to JIS Z 8730 of 85 to 96, color coordinates a* of -1.0 to 2.0, b* of -3.0 to 2.0 (except a range that a* is 0±0.15 and b* is 0±0.15) are satisfied. |
