PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a WDM transmitter that attains sure communication without causing disabled communication. SOLUTION: The WDM transmitter is provided with a plurality of local modules LM1, LM2, LM3, LM4 each having a local interface corresponding to each medium and with at least a remote module RM1 connected to a multiple transmission line L100. The remote module RM1 is connected to a plurality of the local modules LM1, LM2, LM3, LM4 and the local modules LM1, LM2, LM3, LM4 have clock compensation means 15, 16, 17, 18 that compensate a clock signal of a received signal from the multiple transmission line L100. Moreover, the multiple transmission line L100 is at least one optical fiber and transmission and reception signals are transmitted through the optical fiber. |
