PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid an infringement of copyright when data are copied or moved. SOLUTION: When main data (for instance music data) recorded in a 1st recording medium are transmitted to a 2nd device and copied or moved into a 2nd recording medium, the main data are encoded in a 1st device by using an identifier peculiar to the device as a key. The coded main data are transmitted to the 2nd device to practice copy or move. When the main data (coded data) copied or moved into the 2nd recording medium are reproduced by the 2nd device, the connection between the 2nd device and 1st device is confirmed and, in the connection state, the reading of the main data is practiced. Further, the coded main data which are read are transmitted to the 1st device side and decoded by a decoding means by using an identifier peculiar to the device as a key and reproduced and outputted. |
