STRUCTURE FOR BREAKING AND DISCHARGING SAFETY LUG OF CASSETTE TAPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a structure for breaking and discharging a safety lug of a cassette tape whereby the lug can be broken with the cassette tape kept inside a deck body part and the broken lug can surely be taken outside the deck body part. SOLUTION: A safety lug 21 of a cassette tape 2 can be broken inside a deck body part 1 according to the structure for breaking and discharging the lug of the cassette tape. An operation body 3 having an engagement lug part 31 to be engaged with the lug 21 formed to a leading end is set to the deck body part 1 to be movable back and forth. A wreck safety lever 7 arranged in the deck which detects the presence/absence of the lug 21 and turns on/off a switch 6 for judging the presence/absence of a lug is extended on the side of the deck body part 1. An extended part 71 is provided with a guide groove 72 for discharging outside the deck body part 1 the safety lug 21 broken when the operation body 3 is pulled.
