PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a user to easily pull out a medium by providing an automatic teller machine with a means for detecting the hand of the user when the user is to receive the medium and a means for ejecting operation when the user is to pull out the medium. SOLUTION: When transaction data are completely printed on a detailed statement, the detailed statement is separated from rolled paper by cut operation. Afterwards, when an ejecting command is received from a main body control part, a main control part activates the ejection of a carrier motor control part and monitors passing through an eject sensor 11. The carrier motor control part monitors whether light is shielded with the detailed statement through a pull-out sensor 12 and when the light is shielded, the ejecting operation is finished by stopping the carrier motor. When the use brings a hand closer to a detailed statement ejecting port for pulling out the detailed statement at an ejecting position, the hand is detected by an optical proximity sensor 19. When the hand is detected by the proximity sensor 19, the carrier motor is activated and a belt is moved until the pull-out sensor 12 regards the absence of paper. |
