PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an erroneous insertion preventive component and a connector body from being damaged. SOLUTION: Erroneous insertion preventive components 5, 6 are mounted on a connector 1 with pins 12 and a connector 2 with pins 21 to be connected to the pins 12. The erroneous insertion preventive component 5 is equipped with conductive parts 54, 55, and the erroneous insertion preventive component 6 is equipped with a conductive block 64 capable of making contact with the conductive parts 54, 55. Electrodes 16, 17 to be brought into contact with the conductive parts 54, 55 are provided in recessed parts 13 (13a-13d) of the connector 1, and the erroneous insertion preventive component 5 is mounted on the recessed part 13. When the erroneous insertion preventive components 5, 6 are suitably mounted, the conductive parts 54, 55 get conducting by the conductive block 64, and an electric circuit to warn erroneous insertion is formed. Thereby, the erroneous insertion preventive component and a connector body are prevented from being damaged.
