The utensil (30) rinsing device has a bowl (20) that receives part at least of the utensil. The bowl can move vertically when the utensil is inserted and triggers delivery (6) of a rinsing fluid (E) into the bowl. The bowl is pressed down by the operator inserting the utensil, and is returned to its rest position by a spring (8-P) that has been compressed by the downward movement.
