A fuel cell system, of the type incorporating a fuel cell comprising a plurality of cells mounted in series, a supply device for reactant such as hydrogen and oxygen or air and some auxiliary devices, which may have different nominal voltages and strengths, is characterized in that each auxiliary device (10, 13, 14) is branched directly on a block of cells (22, 23, 24) made up of a number of cells in series, determined by the nominal voltage of the auxiliary device, and the supply of reactant to the cell (1) is established in a manner such that the cells of each block may furnish, in addition to the nominal current of the cell (1), the supply current of the auxiliary device. |
