PURPOSE: An indoor unit housing is provided to increase volume of air suction and prevent introduction of impurities. CONSTITUTION: A housing comprises a front frame having a grille and a cold air discharge opening, a rear frame(420) coupled to the front frame, and one or more ventilating windows(422) arranged at the rear frame. The ventilating window has a plurality of vent holes(424), a plurality of inclined ribs(426) extended downwardly from an end of the vent holes with a tilt of a predetermined angle, and a plurality of vertical ribs(428) formed integrally with the ends of the inclined ribs and which are extended downwardly in vertical direction. Thus, an indoor unit housing having an improved strength is obtained.
