A mammalian cytokine-like polypeptide, polynucleotides encoding the same, antibodies which specifically bind to the polypeptide, and anti-idiotypic antibodies which bind to the antibodies. Polypeptide is useful for promoting the healing of wounds and for stimulating the proliferation of platelets.
