PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing an oil cylinder from freezing is provided to improve driving experience and to extend the life span of the oil cylinder by preventing the oil cylinder from freezing. CONSTITUTION: A cap is rotatably mounted on the widthwise front end of a body frame via a hinge shaft. At the lower face of the cap, a support plate is placed. A cylinder(40) is mounted below the support plate via an operating rod. An oil tank is communicated with the cylinder. A freeze preventing apparatus(60) having a hot wire connected with a control unit(63) connected with a temperature sensor(64) is installed in the oil tank. The temperature sensor detects the temperature of oil in the cylinder. If the oil temperature is lower than a reference level, the hot wire is heated by the power supplied via a relay(62) connected with the control unit. Therefore, the oil is heated and freezing of the oil is prevented.
