PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary article for washing capable of easily preventing shrink or deformation of clothes to be washed by preventing relative movement of clothes against the net of the article and improving the washing effect in the inner part of the folded clothes in the net. SOLUTION: This auxiliary article 10 comprises an inner board material 13, a washing net 17, and a fastener 18. The inner board material 13 is shaped along the inside of the bodice of a jacket 11 and is foldable in two. The net 17 for storing the jacket 11 with the inner board material 13 inserted inside comprises a surface net member 14 and a rear net member bonded together in the periphery 16. The fastener 18 is for holding the net 17, in which the jacket 11 is stored, folded together with the inner board material 13. The rear net member put inside the folded jacket 11 has a three-dimensional net structure so that an appropriate liquid-permeating space can be held inside.
