PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant-growing device having a simplified structure, capable of efficiently sucking and draining a nutrient solution, and improved in maintenability and an energy efficiency. SOLUTION: This plant culturing device is composed of a vessel 2, a water- permeating supporter 3 extended to an inner bottom part of the vessel 2, a growing medium 6 such as peat moss supported on the water-peameating supporter 3, a nutrient solution supplying path 7 opened on the medium 6 in the vessel 2, a draining path 8 connected from outside of the vessel 2 to a part lower than the supporter 3 and a Venturi-type sucking device 9 connected to the draining path 8. Preferably, activated carbon is contained in the medium 6, or the medium 6 is a mixture of sand and compost. |
