摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable light source device little affected by changes of outside air temperatures and capable of providing extremely high output stability. SOLUTION: A deuterium lamp 10 of this portable light source device is housed in a lamp box 42, and further, is housed in a case 41 so as to minimize effects from changes of outside air temperatures. The deuterium lamp 10 which is sensitive to temperature changes is covered not only by the lamp box 42 but also by the case 41 so that the lamp is housed with a double shield structure. It is known that ozone is generated when ultra violet rays are irradiated in the air. In connection with this, a light guide tube 70 formed by extending a light emitting opening 69 of the lamp box 42 is provided so that cooling air does not cross in the ultra violet rays. As a result, ozone generation in a part where the ultra violet rays are generated is suppressed in the case 41, and flicker of emitted light caused by ozone is appropriately prevented.
