The invention relates to a cartridge (1) for treating the liquids that flow through said cartridge (1). The cartridge comprises at least one upper part (2) which has an inlet opening, a sealing element (16), a cartridge main section (3) with side walls and outlet openings. The cartridge (3) main section contains a treatment agent. The invention aims to allow the sealing element which is located between the supply container and the cartridge (1) to operate without leakages and to be mechanically protected, even over a longer operating period. This is achieved by a ring groove (14) that is positioned on the side of the cartridge upper part (2) which faces the cartridge main section (3). Said ring groove opens away from the cartridge main section (3). A ring-shaped, extensible sealing lip (16) projects upwards from the floor (8) of the ring groove. |
