PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of bundled wires in an image forming device by a method wherein the phase data of a pulse motor are transmitted by serial communication. SOLUTION: If an instruction to drive a pulse motor is given to a communication controller 301 by a CPU 302, a process in a phase data generating unit 301B is transferred to a motor acceleration process and, after a lapse of a predetermined timer period, phase data are transferred to a serial communication unit 301A to renew the phase data. The serial communication unit 301A transmits the phase data to a communication IC 304 with serial communication. The communication IC 304 supplies the inputted phase data to the pulse motor. When the acceleration process is finished, the process is transferred to a constant speed process and, in the same way, after a lapse of a predetermined timer period, the phase data are transferred to the serial communication unit to renew the phase data. In the same way, a deceleration process is also finished. |
