PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizing tool for laying the remains with the hands clasped in prayer which is suitable for holding the hands of the remains placed in bed or in a coffin in a naturally clasped manner in prayer on the chest. SOLUTION: The upper surface of a pedestal a formed by folding a corrugated fiberboard is an inclined supporting surface 1 of recessed section to support upper arms at a specified upward angle, an erection part 2 for receiving a shoulder part is provided on the lower portion of the supporting surface 1, and the pedestal (a) is covered by an exterior material 3. Both hands of the remains can be kept in a joined state for prayer on the chest by placing the upper arms of the remains on the inclined supporting surface 1 of the pedestal (a), and bending them at elbows.
