PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interference between an operating portion of an operation load reducing mechanism and a cushion material or the like while achieving easy assembly. SOLUTION: A seat frame is fixed to a fixing frame so that is can move vertically by a vertical mechanism. The fixing frame id movably installed on or fixed to a vehicle. The vertical mechanism is provided with a front side arm provided between the front side of the seat frame and fixing frame, and a rear side arm provided between the rear side of the seat frame and fixing frame, and an interlock shaft 35 with an arm fixed for activating the rear side arm. A base portion of an engagement member 44 on the turning side, with an engagement groove 45 formed on the end upper surface side thereof is fixed to one end of the interlock shaft 35. On the other end of the interlock shaft 35, the seat frame 1 is provided with an engagement member 49 on the fixing side. The engagement member 49 is provided with an upward engagement groove 51 located far from a downward engagement groove 50 that is near the interlock shaft 35. A U-shaped engagement portion 47 of a torsion spring 46 is engaged with the engagement groove 45 and an L-shaped engagement portion 48 of the torsion spring 46 bend backward is engaged with the engagement member 49 on the fixing side.
