PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil-free compressor which can recover nearly all of the oil mist in a gear box, discharge only air outside and prevent the inner pressure in the gear box from abnormally rising. SOLUTION: In this oil-free compressor 1 wherein a speed increasing gear train 16 is contained between a compressor body 14 and a motor 15 to drive the compressor body 14, on the other hand, a gear box 18, from the upper section of which an exhaust flow passage 17 extends, is made to intervene to pour the oil reserved in the lower section of the gear box 18 into the rotor shaft bearing section and the gear train 16 and is returned to the original position, an electric type particulate catcher 20 provided with a flow passage through which liquid passes is provided, and a lengthy electrode pin in the direction along the flow passage in the flow passage is provided in the exhaust flow passage 17.
