PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing material using a polyester elastomer capable of substituting for a conventional low-density polyethylene or ethylene-vinyl acetate-copolymer, especially little in odor generation, having low-temperature flexibility and heat resistance at the same time, and excellent in water resistance. SOLUTION: In this packing material, a thermoplastic polyester elastomer containing the following constituents A, B and C, and satisfying the condition D is used. A. An aromatic dicarboxylic acid component. B. A short chain glycol component. C. A polyether glycol random copolymer having random repetition of two or more kinds of different 2-10C alkylene units, and having a molecular weight of 500-40,000. Condition D: the content of a quaternary carbon-containing alkylene unit in the total weight of the polyether glycol component in the thermoplastic polyester elastomer is less than 10 wt.%. |
