PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a solid drawing material which has a high density and strengths and gives a light smooth feeling in drawing by adding a melamine/ cyanuric acid adduct to a drawing material prepared by molding a composition essentially consisting of a colorant. SOLUTION: It is desirable to add 1-30 wt.% melamine/cyanuric acid adduct. The melamine/cyanuric acid adduct has cleavability because it consists of layers each of which consists of melamine molecules and cyanuric molecules arranged in a plane by hydrogen bonding and which are superposed upon each other by relatively weak bonds and therefore are peeled from each other relatively easily. Therefore, it can facilitate the peel of the particles of the colorant, etc., from the drawing material and to promote its wear to improve the density. Further, the hydrogen bonds among the melamine molecules and the cyanuric acid molecules in each layer of the adduct are strong, so that it exhibits high bending strength against bending force acting on the solid drawing agent. Furthermore, the adduct, in virtue of its molecular structure, has a good affinity for other organic components of the solid drawing agent, can uniformly penetrate among the materials such as a colorant, and can toughen the solid drawing material because of its role of binding the respective materials as a whole.
