PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear polishing device which can improve a problematical point of a polishing method in the past. SOLUTION: This device has a support member 10, and in its inside a mandrel 11 is movable in a direction z'. The mandrel 11 is centralized by a spring 15 and cushioned by a damper member 16. A ring 18 is mounted movably in a direction (x) vertical to the direction z' on the mandrel 11. The ring 18 is centralized by a separate spring 26 and cushioned by a damper member 27. A separate ring 44 is rotatably mounted on the ring 18 by using a roller bearing 43. A rotary shaft 7 is in parallel relating to the direction z'. A polishing tool 6 is mounted on the ring 44. In this device, a vibration generated in the case of polishing can be effectively damped. Accordingly, work of a gear is made efficient, the service life of the polishing tool can be extended.
