Manufacturing method for an egg based food product, whereby at least 34percent egg products are mixed with other edible products, this mixture issubsequently baked and cooled, specific features being that the egg productis mixed with 0.3 to 8.0 percent of at least one hydrocolloid and with otheradditives and that the mixture is baked in a sealed baking tray.
