摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent turning angles of a single axle independent wheel truck from exceeding a safe angle relative to a car body and enhance safety. SOLUTION: A truck frame 4 of a single axle independent wheel truck 1 is provided with a pair of wheels 5, 5 independently driven by separate motors 6, 6. A turning angle detection sensor 11 detects turning angles of the truck 1 relative to a car body 3. When the detected turning angles are about to exceed a safe angle defined for each running point, a control unit 13 transmits regulatory signals to actuators 12a, 12b and the actuators 12a, 12b regulate the turning (turning toward an increasing turning angle) of the truck frame 4. By this arrangement, the turning angles of the truck frame 4 remain within the safe angle, the possibility of derailment is eliminated, and safe running is assured.
