A microwave transmission/reception module including a transmitting unit circuit and a receiving unit circuit. The transmitting unit circuit and the receiving unit circuit are made up of different types of transmission lines orthogonal to polarization plane and provided on the same side of a board. For example, either the transmitting unit circuit or the receiving unit circuit is made up of a microstrip, and the other a coplanar line or a slot line. Consequently, the interference with each other due to the electromagnetic field between constituent circuits in the module is suppressed, the circuits are close arranged with no necessity of shielding material, and the microwave module is miniaturized.
