<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decide correct preceding vehicle data and to resume correct following travel by storing and updating data decided as the preceding vehicle when the speed of a following vehicle surpasses a prescribed value and storing and maintaining the preceding data as they are without updating and storing the data decided as the preceding vehicle data in the case the speed of the following vehicle is equal to or less than the prescribed value. SOLUTION: A preceding vehicle data decision processing means 11 obtains a plurality of blocked data processed by a blocking processing means 9 and a filtering and interpolating processing means 10. A preceding vehicle data deciding part 11b selects and decides the preceding vehicle data from the plurality of blocked data taking data stored in a storing part 11a as reference. Then, a deciding part 11c updates the data decided as the preceding vehicle data and stored into the part 11a in the case the vehicle speed of a following vehicle surpasses a fixed value. When the following vehicle travels equally to or less than a fixed speed, the data decided as the preceding vehicle data are not updated and stored but the preceding data are stored and maintained as they are.</p> |
