PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase which can lessen the number of parts and the manhour in assembly. SOLUTION: Since the front side member 26 of a goods shelf 2 is provided integrally with a goods guard 26b and each projection 26c for retention of labels, this showcase does not need members for retention of goods guard and label each consisting of separate parts. Moreover, since the front end member 26 of each goods shelf 2 is made transparent, the light of the fluorescent lamp attached to the top within the showcase body permeates the front end member 26 of each goods shelf, and not only the goods shelf on the uppermost stage but also the goods shelf 2 below it are illuminated.
