PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a balance measuring method which can reduce a trouble of a balance measuring operator and improve the operation efficiency. SOLUTION: A control unit 2 is connected to a balance measuring instrument 1, and by connecting a control unit 2, an air blower 3 for forcible stop, and a power source 4 for power supply and then the electric power begins to be supplied to the rotary body 5 automatically after a measurement start switch 11 of the balance measuring instrument 1 is turned on. The power supply to the rotary body 5 is stopped automatically after a measurement stop switch 12 of the balance measuring instrument 1 is turned on, and the air blower 3 for forcible stop is driven to send air in the opposite rotating direction from the rotating direction of the rotary body 5, thereby forcible stopping the rotary body 5.
