PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the underwater weight of a section for decreasing tension and to miniaturize a damping device and rigging on a ship by mounting a buoyant body whose buoyancy decreases along with the depth of water to the section. SOLUTION: In a laying ship 1, a cable 3 on the bottom passes through a braking device 2 and then is lashed along with a buoyant body 4 by a lashing machinery (or lashing worker) 6. The cable 3 on the bottom descends from the water surface 8 along with the buoyant body 4, that has been lashed and lands on a bottom 9 and is laid. The buoyant body 4 (for example, expanded polystyrene) has characteristics, where the buoyancy decreases along with the depth of water as it goes down in water, while it has been lashed by the cable 3 on the bottom. That is, since the water pressure rises along with the depth of water, bubbles included in the expanded polystyrene collapse appropriately and the buoyancy decrease, thus miniaturizing a damping device and rigging on a ship.
|
