PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dyeing a fabric, made of fibers high in elongation and elongation recovery, or of very fine fibers, without causing processing defects, e.g. rope creases and folded traces. SOLUTION: This method is for dyeing a fabric made of fibers having an elongation of 10% or more and elongation recovery of 90% or more, both determined in accordance with JIS L-1096, and/or of very fine fibers having a single fiber diameter of 1.0 deniers or less, using a dyeing machine in which the fabric is carried by a flow of gas or gas/liquid mixture.
