PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hand cart of compact and lightweight construction when accommodated to ensure convenient carrying-around or carrying into a car, plane, etc., nevertheless admitting loading of a large luggage, etc., and even at the time of everyday shopping or the like, capable of being used as user's owned cart on which a shopping basket available at a supermarket, etc., is fitted. SOLUTION: A hand cart is equipped with a lower stage placing part 20, casters 30 borne by the part 20, pillars 10 projecting up from the placing part 20, a coupling member attached to the pillars 10, and an upper stage placing part forming frame 40 installed on the coupling member slidably parallel with the pillars 10. The frame 40 is arranged rotatably round the coupling member and also capable of folding, while the placing part 45 is arranged capable of being opened or closed any as desired.
