PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic fabric which has excellent durability such as excellent heat resistance and excellent hot water resistance and uses polyurethane based elastic yarns. SOLUTION: This elastic fabric comprises polyurethane-based elastic yarns comprising a polyurethane using a saturated hydrocarbon-based polymer having hydroxyl groups at the molecular terminals as a polymer polyol and other yarns such as wool yarns, cotton yarns, polyamide yarns, rayon yarns, acryl yarns or acrylic yarns, is produced by interknitting or interweaving the polyurethane-based elastic yarns or elastic yarns prepared by covering the outer surfaces of the polyurethane-based elastic yarns with other staple-like, spun yarn-like or filament-like yarns and other spun yarn-like or filament-like yarns or by knitting or weaving only yarns prepared by covering the outer surfaces of the polyurethane-based elastic yarns with other yarns, and preferably contains the polyurethane-based elastic yarns in an amount of 3 to 20 wt.%.
