PRODUCTION OF COATED ELASTIC YARN, COATED ELASTIC YARN, ITS YARN PRODUCT AND PRODUCTION OF YARN PRODUCT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coated elastic yarn capable of providing a product having high fitness and wearing feeling without impairing appearance quality, attaching and detaching properties, transparency, crispy feeling, etc., by heat-treating an elastic yarn at the softening point of the soft segment of the elastic yarn or lower than it. SOLUTION: In producing a coated elastic yarn by coating the circumference of an elastic yarn such as a polyurethane elastic yarn, etc., with an inelastic yarn such as a rayon, a polyester, the elastic yarn is heat-treated at the softening point of the soft segment of the elastic yarn or lower than it, for example, a temperature range of (the softening point-30 deg.C) to (the softening point-10 deg.C) for >=5 days and <=11 day to give the coated elastic yarn. Preferably the elastic yarn is heat-treated before or after coated witch the inelastic yarn.
