PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with unbalance of tensile force applied on a main chord generated when a core metal is used by tilting an outer surface side of a blade part of the core metal opposing to an outer peripheral side of a rubber crawler in the direction of an inner side toward a central side. SOLUTION: A core metal 1 is constituted in such a way that inclined faces 5, 5 are formed on outer surfaces of blade parts 4, 4. This inclined face 5 is a section surrounded by a main chord when the core metal 1 is embedded in a rubber elastic body. The inclined face 5 is inclined toward an inner side for the horizontal direction and the center of the core metal, but this inclination angle is preferably one degree<=θ<=20 degrees. In a rubber crawler 10, an amount of rubber between the main chord and the core metal increases when approaching an inner side for a curved face, namelly, the curved inclined face 5 in a steel chord 13, and tensile force of an inner chord does not increase due to the deformation of the rubber. For this reason, it is possible to make tensile force of each steel chord 13 uniform and reduce cutting of the steel chord 13.
