Appliance and method of filling containers with products incorporate filler-conveyor, overlapping unit and filler unit

The filling unit consists of a feeder-conveyor. An overlapping unit (4) places the products (2) in an overlapping bunch (11). The products are conveyed by means of a filler-conveyor (14) to a container (1) positioned in a filler-unit. A conveyor (20) conveys the product-containers to and from the filler unit. The overlapping unit has overlap-appliances (8,27) by which the products of one bunch can be overlapped over or under the previous product. The filler-conveyor has appliances (13) by which the bunches are conveyed either vertically or horizontally to the containers.
