The invention relates to a polymer which can be obtained in a multi-stage polymerisation process. In the first stage of said process, polymerisation i s carried out in the aqueous phase of at least one ethylenically monofunctiona l compound, optionally with at least one ethylenically difunctional or multifunctional compound in the presence of a polyesterpolyol, polyurethane and/or a polyacrylate; in the following stage, the resulting product is reacted with at least one ethylenically monofunctional compound, optionally with at least one ethylenically difunctional or multifunctional compound; th e resulting product is subsequently reacted with a cross-linking agent. The invention also relates to the utilisation of said polymer.
