The relockable cartridge system comprises a cartridge holder with a photo-inert and optically opaque media receiving tray with a media access. A flexible photo-inert and optically opaque cover is attracted by a magnetic seal within the holder. The cartridge (11) has a molded polyolefin tray (20) in a cartridge holder (13) which fits in a drawer (14). The cover (22) has magnetizable metallic strips (24) on its edge which are attracted by magnets (56) within the holder.
