PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a resin layer a thinner film by cooling the resin layer region corresponding with at least the welding location of a hand pipe or a washer when the hand pipe or the washer is resistance-heat-welded to a can body made of a laminate steel sheet wherein on the internal surface of a steel sheet, a thermoplastic resin layer is formed. SOLUTION: For this laminate can body to which a hand pipe or a washer is attached, a surface treated steel sheet for which a thermoplastic resin layer 2 is formed on a steel sheet 1, is used as the raw material, and the laminate can body is constituted by forming a can body, a top plate and a bottom plate in such a manner that the resin layer 2 may become the can internal surface. When such a laminate can body is manufactured, a process wherein when the hand pipe or the washer is resistance-heat- welded, a region of the resin layer 2 corresponding with at least the welding location of the hand pipe or the washer is cooled, is provided. That is, at the time of a welding of the hand pipe or the washer, a gas or a liquid is jetted from a jetting device 3 to the region of the resin layer 2 corresponding with a laser irradiated location, and a temperature of the surface of the resin layer 2 is made the melting point or lower. Thus, a damage of the resin layer 2 due to a resistance-heating is suppressed.
