PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid crystal projector whose structure is simplified to reduce the number of parts and to reduce the man-hour of assembly and adjusting work. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal projector is provided with an image-formation optical system equipped with a projection lens 7 and a light synthesizing prism 6. The device is further provided with liquid crystal panels 1a, 1b and 1c arranged at the subject position of the image-formation optical system, an attaching member 4 for attaching the panels 1a, 1b and 1c to the prism 6, and a spacer member 5 having a wedge shape and positionally adjusting the panels 1a, 1b and 1c both in their plane direction and a direction orthogonal to the plane direction. The panels 1a, 1b and 1c are fixed on the prism 6 through the members 4 and 5. |
