PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent water into a connector housing and assure insulation between terminals. SOLUTION: In this pressure contact joint connector, each connector housing 1 is provided with a plurality of terminal housing chambers 5 comported by each cavity wall 4, collective terminal constructs 7 are inserted and housed in the terminal housing chambers 5. The collective terminal constructs 7 are constituted of a plurality of terminals 6 arranged in the terminal housing chambers 5 and carrier parts 8 connecting the terminals 6, and a portion of a carrier part 8 connecting adjacent terminals 6 is cut if necessary, and temporary locking means 20 constituted of spring locking parts 6f formed on the terminals 6 and displaceable in the inside direction by elastic deformation, and locking grooves 21 formed in the connector housings 1 and opening to the terminal housing chambers 5 are provided for temporarily locking the collective terminal constructs 7 to the connector housings 1 at the position where the carrier parts 8 are located outside of the connector housings 1 and the collective terminal constructs are on the process of being inserted to the terminal housing chambers 5.
