PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make influence due to transferring delay inconspicuous when transferring of image data is delayed in the case of image recording. SOLUTION: An image recording comprises an image bus I/F controller 2021 for inputting image data by each line, a print buffer 2025 for storing the image data inputted from the image bus I/F controller 2021 and a printer 2095 that records an image by each line in accordance with the image data read from the print buffer 2025. When the image data in a line is not inputted from the image bus I/F controller 2021 within a determined time period, the image data in the line is invalidated and the image data in the line already outputted to the printer 2095 is reread from the print buffer 2025 to be outputted to the printer 2095.
