PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately stick a tape to a prescribed position on a lead frame by preventing the occurrence of dust from burrs, etc., by cutting off the front end section of the tape in the widthwise direction by means of a rotary blade, and pressure bonding the cut piece of the tape to the prescribed position by pressing a tape holder holding the cut piece by suction against the lead frame after the lead frame is heated. SOLUTION: A tape sticking section (composed of guide rails 13 and a heater 14) is positioned on one side of a device for cutting and press-contacting tape opposite to a tape cutting section with respect to the central rotating shaft 8b of the device. A lead frame 12 is guided by the guide rails 13 and heated from the bottom side by means of the heater 14. Then the rotating shaft 18b is turned by a prescribed amount and a cylinder 11 is arranged above the tape sticking section. When a piston rod 11a is driven in the direction F, the rod 11a moves a tape holder 6 in the direction in which the holder 6 approaches the lead frame 12 against the modulus of elasticity of a spring 7 by pushing a flange section 6f. Then the rod 11a adheres to a piece of tape 15 (cut off from a tape in the width direction by means of a rotary blade 1) sucked to the suction hole 6a of the tape holder 6 to the lead frame 12 by pressing. |
