PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of preventing the soiling of the inside of the device due to the creep characteristic of silicone oil in the case of using the silicone oil as the carrier liquid of liquid developer. SOLUTION: As for a container 19 storing the developer 18 in which the silicone oil is used as the carrier liquid, the inner wall of the container 19 upper than the liquid level of the developer 18 is coated with oil repellent agent. Thus, the silicone oil is repelled and hardly moved at a spot coated with the oil repellent agent, so that the movement of the silicone oil due to the creep characteristic thereof is prevented. Then, a situation that the silicone oil creeps out from the container 19 and soils the inside of the device is prevented.
