<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check incomplete attachment by providing a means for disenabling a male connector from fitting when attached to a wiring board incompletely. SOLUTION: In this connector for a board 1, binding grooves 6 are formed on both seidewalls 1a of a housing 1, an engagement recess 10 is formed on a wiring board 5, and the wiring board 5 on both sides of the fitting recess 10 is inserted into the binding grooves 6. And engaging protrusions 8 having tapered surfaces 12a with downward inclination in the inserting direction of the housing 1 is formed on the inner walls 6a of the binding grooves 6, locking nails 12 having tapered surface 12a opposite to the engaging protrusions 8 are formed on the wiring board 5 at both sides of the fitting recess 10, when the housing 1 inserted the engaging protrusions 8 interfere with the locking claws 12 and riding over the locking claws 12 by bending of the housing 1 for engaging the locking claws 12 to retain the housing 1 in the normal position.</p> |
