PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the relevance ratio while keeping the first obtained reproducivility ratio as much as possible by securing the and order or more connection as necessary for the discriminants of the same similarity among those series expressions, defining the Boolean sums of all discriminants as new series expressions and furthermore securing the and order or more connection for the new series expressions to lead the final retrieval expression. SOLUTION: The threshold is set to the relevance ratio itself of a discriminant, i.e., a component unit of a retrieval expression, and the lowering of the threshold is suppressed and the decision standard can be freely set and changed. The and order or more connection is secured as necessary for the discriminants of the same similarity in each of series expressions. The Boolean sums of all discriminants are defined as the new series expressions and the and order or more connection is secured for these series expressions to lead the final retrieval expression. In general, every series expression includes a mixture of a set of dense relevance information and a set of thin relevance information, and the connecting order of both sets should not be set at a too higher order when much important is attached to the reproducivility ratio and 2nd-3rd orders are experientially desirable. When much importance is attached to the relevance ratio, the degree set up to an order of the largest number of series expressions available.
