PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake mounting structure for a wheel-in motor capable of dispensing with a backing plate, and being minimized by mounting a motor close to a driving wheel. SOLUTION: An assembling part 8 is projected from a motor casing 7 of a motor 1, and an anchor pin 10 and a brake cam 11 are directly implanted therein. A pair of brake shoes are rotatably assembled in the anchor pin 10, and the brake shoes are pressed to the brake drum 5 by the rotating operation of the brake cam 11. The brake cam 11 is rotatable through the tensing operation of a cable 14 by the driving of a sub-cylinder 13 at a car body side and a cam mechanism 15.
